Ephesians 2:2; "Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: ... "
Since Satan is the prince and power of the Air, understanding SOUND is a key element of understanding why it's expedient that a Believer PRAISE & WORSHIP THE LORD OUT LOUD!! In Ephesians 2:2, "air" refers to the invisible realm above the earth where Satan and his demonic forces "move" and exist.
When you UNDERSTAND that things really do happen when you SPEAK, SAY or DECREE, you will use the "exceeding, great power" that Ephesians 1:18,19 reveals you have! ("The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye many know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the Saints ... And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe").
Our VOICE is a very important element of our spiritual weaponry. In Peggy Scarborough's book, Healing Through Spiritual Warfare, she quoted Terry Law, "Every one of the weapons (The Word, The Blood & the Name of Jesus) is launched with the human mouth. We praise & worship with our mouths, we pray with our mouths, we confess with our mouth, we preach with our mouths, we resist with our mouths and we bind and loose with our mouths".
The VOICE is important because it releases sound. Sound is a wave or disturbance that TRAVELS in the "air". Since the voice can be projected, the sound from it can travel in the AIR and disturb demonic congregating forces that are assigned to attack your life. If you answer and rebuke the enemy, with your declaration & the Word, you evoke or summons Angelic assistance
Your Voice's pitch can be intense and when you speak, it can dispel and disrupt the presence of the enemy in the air/atmosphere around you and in your body. Your physical body hears and responds to your voice and when believe and speak, things change! By Jesus' stripes you are healed ... YOU will be Healed if you SAY SO!
The DECIBEL, (the power, loudness or volume) of your Voice, is also important as shown in Acts 14:8-10; "And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother's womb, who never had walked: The same heard Paul speak: who steadfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed, ... Said WITH A LOUD VOICE, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked".
Your Voice TRANSMITS the Anointing or Power to the person or target you are praying for. A Voice filled with Joyful Praise will force the enemy out of your mind & release the Glory of The Lord! ...
Your PRAISE, WORSHIP & WORDS can MOVE Mountains & CHANGE atmospheres FOR REAL!!!
