Chapter Three

The Righteousness of God

Before addressing the problems of the nation, each Christian must examine himself or herself.  I pray that you will have patience; this is spiritual food.  This food was not written for the world; the world cannot receive it.  Listen carefully, “For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.  And then shall the wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of this coming.  Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.  And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: that they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”  (2 Thessalonians 2:7-12)  I pray that you have love for the truth.

Brothers and Sisters in Christ, to receive this message you must have love for the truth because many have deceived many.  However, they too say that Jesus is the Christ.  Although Jesus is Christ, many will go forth and some have gone forth and deceived many.  Consequently, if you do not have love for the truth, God will send you strong delusion, so you will believe a lie.  Because you have love not for the truth you will be damned.

Some Christians quote part of the scripture from Romans 8:1 which says, “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, …” I have heard Christians quote this portion of this verse.  However, I admonish them to continue to read the verse,  “… who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”   We must seek the righteousness of God, by faith in the spirit.

In the book of Isaiah, like the prophecy regarding the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, whereby we receive salvation, the book gives the prophecy regarding God’s righteousness.  We must bring understanding to the prophecy of Isaiah regarding the righteousness of God.  God has established standards regarding his righteousness.   We must understand these standards and seek the counsel of God.   Consequently, if the United States of America fails to seek counsel of God, this nation will fall under the declared and published standards for Babylon and the images of Babylon.

Today, we must clearly understand how the prophecy of Isaiah pertains to us.  Like God gave his word to Isaiah for Judah and Israel, today, God has given me the same message for His people, in the United States of America.

In Isaiah 48:16 - 18, it is recorded, “Come ye near unto me, hear ye this:  I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord God, and His spirit, hath sent me. (17) Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, I am the Lord Thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.  (18) O that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea.”

Have you experienced peace as a river?  Do you believe that your righteousness is as the waves of the sea?   Now look at the United States and ask the same questions.   Is the United States of America experiencing peace as a river?  Does the United States of America have righteousness as the waves of the sea?  If you carefully evaluate the facts, your answers for both of these questions regarding the United States would be “NO.”  If we hearken to the commandments of God, we would be His children, we would be established in righteousness; we would be far from oppression; we would not have fear and terror would not come near us, and God would show us how to profit.  What is wrong?  Is there something wrong with the word of God or is there something wrong with us?

We know that God’s word is true.  However, before we examine the United States’ actions, first let us look at Christians, especially in the United States.  In Romans Chapter 11, it explains how the Gentiles were ingrafted branches into the tree of life.   We must examine these scriptures carefully.  Starting with verse 11:15, “For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?”  This verse shows that when the Jews rejected God, God offered salvation to the rest of the world.  Today, the ones who believe are alive through Christ Jesus.

 (16) “For if the first fruit be holy, lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.”  Here the first fruit refers to Abraham and the other patriarchs.  They were holy, therefore their children were also holy.

 (17) “And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them, and with them partakest of the root and the fatness of the olive tree;” Some of the branches from Abraham’s tree, were the Jews that were broken off.  The Gentiles are referred to as wild olive trees.

 (18) “Boast not against the branches.  But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.”  Here the Gentiles are told be careful not to brag about being grafted in to replace the Jews that were broken off.

 (19) “Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.”

 (20)  “Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith.  Be not high-minded, but fear:” Here the Gentiles are reminded that the Jews were broken off because they did not believe God.  And the Gentiles were grafted in because they believed.  However they were told not to think too highly of themselves but fear what could happen.

(21) “For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spared not thee.”

  (22) “Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, “if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.”

 (23) “And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again.”

(24) “For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?

Christians must understand that they too can be broken off.  And the children of Israel must understand that they can be grafted back in.  However, believers must seek first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto them.  Isaiah 54:14-15 says, “In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.  Behold, they surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.”  As Paul prayed in Romans 10:1, “Brethren, My heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.”  This is also my prayer and I pray that all Christians would pray that the Jews would be saved.

However, today besides praying for the Jews, Christians that truly know who Jesus is must pray for other Christians who really do not know Jesus because they have been deceived.  The First Epistle of John 2:4-5 says, “He that saith, I know him and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.  But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.  He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so walk, even as he walked.

Why were the children of Israel broken off?  Answer:  Because they did not believe that Jesus was the only begotten Son of God.  In other words, they did not know who Jesus was.  Today, we have many that say they are Christians, however, they do not know who Jesus is because they do not do what Jesus commanded them to do.

Due to deception, many do not understand that in Jesus dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.  Christians are complete in Jesus, which is head of all principality and power.  (Colossians 2:9-10)  In the work, “Edifying the Body of Christ: Unbinding the Strong Man,” God has allowed me to fully reveal the mystery of Godliness through this work. Praise the Lord.

The word of God in Mathew 6:33 says, “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His Righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”  Every Christian must know how to seek the kingdom of God and God’s righteousness.  Isaiah 51:5 say, My righteousness is near; my salvation is gone forth.  Most Christians know that we receive salvation through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  However in respect to His righteousness, many do not have a clue.  Some would even refer back to Isaiah 64:6, and refer to their righteousness as filthy rags.

When we receive Jesus as the Lord and Savior of our lives, Jesus Christ does not want us to view ourselves as filthy rags because we have been redeemed.  John 1:12 says, “… As many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name…” If we follow His commandments, our peace will be like the river and our righteousness will be as the waves of the sea.  Our goal here is to help you experience this level of peace and righteousness.  However, without Jesus as Lord of our lives, surely, our righteousness is as filthy rags.  Remember, Jesus must be Lord of our lives for us to be the love of our Heavenly Father and to become children of God.

Sometimes scriptures are misunderstood because we fail to understand to whom they were written to.  For example, the book of Ephesians, this book was written to the saints that were at Ephesus and to the faithful in Christ Jesus.  Today, if you are not faithful in Christ Jesus, the blessings contained therein are not for you.  Some teach that you do not have to do anything; they say when you say that you believe, that is all you have to do.  This teaching is in error.

Listen.  Today the faithful in Christ Jesus are the ones who have all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.  It is the faithful in Christ Jesus that were chosen before the foundation of the world, that they should be holy and without blame before Him in love.  Today, it is the faithful in Christ Jesus that were predestinated unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, to the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in the beloved.

Isaiah 51:5 states, “My righteousness is near; my salvation is gone forth, and mine arm shall judge the people; the isles shall wait upon me, and on mine arm shall they trust.”  It is very important that we understand this statement.  We must understand that God is our Savior and He sent our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to redeem all that would believe in Him, God’s only begotten son.  We must understand when Jesus saved us, He redeemed us and we were in the right standing with God.  Remember, we seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness.  Therefore, our heart must be right before God.  Hebrews 3:12 warns us to take heed, how an evil heart of unbelief can cause us to depart from the Living God.

If our hearts are not right, we can be broken off, like the children of Israel.   To keep this from happening to us, we must remember that as many as received Jesus, to them gave he power to become sons and daughters of God. Therefore, we must have faith and seek after God’s righteousness by hearkening to God’s commandments.

The United States is a power nation.  We put our trust in our military and esteem it as the most powerful military in the world.  Many believe that with the strength of our military we could overthrow Iraq and any other nation that comes up against us or if we desire to over take them even if there is no provocation.   Although we have a powerful military, we must learn to fear God.  “The fear of the Lord is the beginning or wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.”  (Psalm 111:10)

Before we go any further, we first must visit Isaiah 54:14.  It says,  “In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear; and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.”   Again, the word of God is true.   Why did terror visit America on September 11, 2001?   Isaiah 54:17 says, “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.  This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.”   Here we could make a mistake if we fail to study God’s word.

We must note this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, whereby God says their righteousness was of Him.  Who are servants of God?  They are ones who follow His commandments.   Let’s pray for our leaders, for each one of them to understand that it is not through our military might, but only by seeking the righteousness of God that this land will continue to prosper and be free from terrorism.  We must fear God!

Isaiah 51: 7 gives clarity here.  It says, “Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings. (8) For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool: but my righteousness shall be forever, and my salvation from generation to generation.”  Every Christian should know and understand this foundational statement regarding God’s righteousness and God’s salvation.  Again, God’s righteousness is forever - God’s salvation is from generation to generation.

In Appendix Two, “Sermon - A Check Up For The Body of Christ, The Church” you will find the inspired word of God that gives new converts and every believer the much needed information to help them see clearly how they can serve the Lord in a more perfect way.

Appendix Two covers the following areas.
