"IF"  Review of Proverbs Chapter Two and Revelation Knowledge

Today as we read the book of Proverbs, we see: “My Son,” we know that these are the Proverbs of Solomon the son of David, King of Israel.  However, today this word is for every Christian.  It is imperative that we understand and do what is required of us.  I am a member of a Face Book Group called: "Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John" - I was asked to give a review of Proverbs Chapter Two.  This was a very simple assignment because Proverbs Chapter Two is clearly written and it shows how we should study to show ourselves approved unto God in the name of JESUS.  It starts off putting the emphasis on the word “IF.”

If thou wilt receive my words and hide my commandments with thee; incline thine ear unto wisdom and apply thine heart to understanding.

If thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding

If thou seekest her (wisdom) as silver, and searchest for her as hidden treasuresThen shall thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God.

Now let us refer back to Proverbs 1:7- The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

It is important that we understand - that we must understand the fear of the Lord to find the knowledge of God.  We can summarize the rest of this chapter and discover the benefits and what happens to the ones who leave the path of uprightness.   (1) The Lord layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous (2) He is a buckler (3) He keepeth the path of judgment and preserveth the way of His saints.  Proverbs 2:13-22 covers what happens to the ones who leave the path of uprightness, to walk in the way of darkness.  Surely, this could be amplified, and this is the approach of some bibles.  However, I have discovered that the Word of God does not need to be amplified.  However, we must seek the Word of God as silver and search for wisdom as for hidden treasures.

It is very unfortunate, that today there are many with PhDs and DDs who have not sought wisdom as silver or searched for it as hidden treasures.  Consequently today, some sources report that there are more than 41,000 denominations worldwide.  This is far too many winds of doctrines.  Therefore, something radical must take place to effect Ephesians Chapter four – For we must come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.  What is this radical thing that must happen?  We must search the scriptures to the point that wisdom enters our hearts and knowledge becomes pleasant unto our soul. (Proverbs 2:10)

In John 5:39 , Jesus said, “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.  And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.” Many do not understand this revelation.  Allow me to demonstrate what happens when you search the scriptures and receive the revelation.  We will begin at John 1:1.

At John 1:1, John makes the following affirmation: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  The same was in the beginning with God.  All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.”  Do you understand the revelation?  Do you understand The Revelation of the Affirmation of the WORD?  Do you really understand why it was possible for John to make this powerful affirmation?  Listen carefully; this revelation will surely awake you as if you are being awakened out of a deep sleep.  Herein is the key to understanding the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.

To make the Bride of Christ ready we must know the Son of God unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.   Therefore it is important to see the Word of God throughout the Bible.   The Word of God - John 1:1-3 says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”   Moreover, Johns’ opening sentence in the book of Revelation reads, “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him…”  “The Revelation of Jesus Christ” - For this is what gave John the right to record in John 1:1-3  “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”  Let us see how this was revealed to John.

Supporting scriptures:

Revelation 1:4  “John to the seven churches which are in Asia; Grace be unto you and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before the throne; and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth, Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood.”

In Revelation chapter 4, some only focus on this truth there is only one throne and one sits on the throne, however they fail to see the Word of God.  If we look closely at Revelation 4:5 , we can see the Word of God.  Revelation 4:5  says: “And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.” It is very important to make note of “Seven lamps of fire burning – seven Spirits of God.”   Next let us review Revelation 5:6 : “And I beheld and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.”

Revelation 4:5  referred to the Seven Spirits of God as Seven lamps of fire burning, however Revelation 5:6 , clearly explain it was the Lamb and the Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes and these are Seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

Zechariah 4:1-6  explains the seven lamps were the Word of God. (1) “And The angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep, (2) And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candle-stick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof.  (3) And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof. (4) So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, what are these, my lord? (5) Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be?  And I said, No, my lord.  (6) Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.”  (Note the two olive trees according to Zechariah 4:14  are the two anointed ones that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.)

We must note: the seven lamps of fire burning is the Word of God the seven spirits of God.  WOW!  Praise God.  This is a powerful revelation!   In the beginning was the Seven Spirits of God, and the Seven Spirits of God were God.  The same was in the beginning with God.  All things were made by the Seven Spirits of God; and without the Seven Spirits of God was not any thing made that was made.   The Word of God and the Seven Spirits of God are interchangeable.  Thus the Seven Spirit of God became flesh.

Another search of the Seven Eyes - Zechariah 3:8-9 : “Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH(9) For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of the land in one day.”  Zechariah 4:7-10  “Who art thou, O great mountain?  Before Zerubbabel thou shalt bring forth the head-stone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.  (8) Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me saying, (9) The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shall know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto you. (10) For who hath despised the day of small things? For they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the Lord, which run to and fro through the whole earth.  Here you can see Jesus as the Chief Corner Stone.  Praise God for this revelation.

It is also important to note that it was said, “I will engrave the graving thereof saith the Lord of hosts.”  How and when did this happen?  A study of the Word of God shows this happened by a covenant as recorded in Isaiah 59:20-21 .  (20)  And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the Lord.  (21) As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD, My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and forever.”

It is important to note that God made a covenant with the Redeemer, Zion, and them that turn from transgression in Jacob.  God gave the Son life within himself.   Isaiah 61  commences by saying, “The SPIRIT of the Lord is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening the prison to them that are bound; (2) To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, …”   This explains why Jesus said at Luke 4:18-19 :   “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of the sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, (19) To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

We must go to Isaiah 11:2 to receive the revelation.  “And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD.”   Here you can see the Seven Spirits of God:

  • The Spirit of the LORD

Is Upon ME (The Word of God)

  • The Spirit of Wisdom
  • The Spirit of Understanding
  • The Spirit of Counsel
  • The Spirit of Might
  • The Spirit of Knowledge
  • The Spirit of the Fear of the Lord

The Spirit of Wisdom, The Spirit of Understanding, The Spirit of Counsel, The Spirit of Might, The Spirit of Knowledge and the Spirit of the Fear of the Lord is the Bread that came down from heaven.  This revelation explains John 6:48-58.  Jesus said: “I am that bread of life.”  6:51 says: “I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.”  When we study the Word of God these are the Six Spirits that we eat.

In John 5:39 , Jesus said, “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.  And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.”    Today, Christians are the body of Christ – we are charged to go forth into all nations.

However, up until now, there are many revelations regarding “The Knowledge of the Son of God unto a Perfect Man and The Measure of the Stature of the Fullness of Christ” that are not being taught.

I can go on and on sharing revelation knowledge in this post.  However, now I will return back to Proverbs 2.  At 2:6 it says “For the Lord giveth wisdom, out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.”  We must understand that the “Word” came out From God – God gave the Word life within himself – and the Word accomplished the assignment that was given Him and then the Word when back to God.

Okay! Okay! I will end this post.  However, if you want more revelation knowledge regarding the Revelation of Jesus Christ based on the word of God click onto the link below.  This is the way that God wants us to search the scriptures.  However, many use bibles that have added text to them or deleted text from the Word of God – those sources are no longer the Word of God.  Revelation 22:18-19 gives the prophecy for these individuals.  18For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

However, for you my friend, God is saying to you today!

“If thou wilt receive my words and hide my commandments with thee; incline thine ear unto wisdom and apply thine heart to understanding.

“If thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding”

“If thou seekest her (wisdom) as silver, and searchest for her as hid treasures.  Then shall thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God.
