A Message for Christians on Halloween

Surely Satan has nothing but tricks for God’s people, even what appears to be treats are only tricks. However here is a plan to effect God’s will for our lives. Plan of Action to Effect God’s Will

We must understand that we are engaged in a spiritual warfare and recently we have been on the defense, however to win we must go on offense. But we must understand that prior to realizing the offensive posture we must identify and clear up every land mine that has been planted.

The most powerful weapon that we have is prayer – and we must obey the Commander-In-Chief by acknowledging God in all of our ways and allowing God to direct our path.

To effectively use our most powerful weapon – we must have faith in God in the name of JESUS and understand that without faith we cannot please God. Therefore, we must understand in a spiritual warfare, fear is the greatest land mine that can be planted. Fear comes from within us and it thrives on the lack of faith. When this occurs, we allow the conditions/uncertainties to control our actions instead of using faith which is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.

We must identify all land mines that have been planted by ourselves or foes. Next we must work to disarm them – Here again it is important that we must understand that prayer is our greatest weapon and then allow God to direct our path. Sometimes it is difficult to identify the foes because of the tricks and treats. You must understand the mystery of iniquity! God has provided food in 2 Thessalonians, chapter 2 that give us this understanding. Let us eat these words: “For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming.” We must have love for truth – without the love for truth you will not be able to identify the foes because you are your own worst enemy. It is important to understand this truth – listen carefully to the words that God gave Apostle Paul to pen at 2 Thessalonians 2:9-12.
“Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”

You can only go on offense when you have love for truth. Only with the love for truth can you: (1) Receive and give light. (2) Take inventory of your weapons, supplies, support staff, and your present help (3) Clearly define or redefine your mission, goals/objectives (4) Break down goals into units that can be measured (6) Take action at the direction of God in the name of JESUS (6) Make daily evaluation/assessment (7) Renew your strength (8) Give God the glory in the name of JESUS.
