For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
"Through Him!" Today, what does this mean to us as Christians? Why did Christ send us into the world? Why are we given Spiritual gifts? Does God still love the world?
Yes, God still loves the world. Today, true Christians are the body of Christ. Therefore, the true Christians are his true body and we have been given Spiritual gifts to make all men see the fellowship we have with God through the Spirit. "Through Him" - It is through Us - The Body of Christ - We are given power for His glory.
Therefore the Christmas message today is: We must also love the world and it is through us, true Christians that the world might be saved. Christ has given us power and he has given us the same glory that he had when he walked this earth to do supernatural things in His name. Surely, this is the true message that all Christians must understand. It is good to buy gifts for loved ones. Nevertheless, the greatest gift is the gift of everlasting life; This is the charge that has been given unto us to share the glorious gospel of Christ.
