Repent 2019 - The Measure of the Stature of the Fullness of Christ

Today, there are many who do not understand the mystery of God’s will and the fellowship of the mystery.  Therefore, there must be a redirecting of focus.   It is imperative that we redirect our attention to God’s will; this is a must for each Christian, especially the called and chosen leaders of God’s people.  Today it is being reported by some sources that there are more than 41,000 winds of doctrines of the commandments of men tossing the saints of the living God to and fro.  These commandments of men range from dress codes for women, the day of worship, to not calling on the name of Jesus for the remission of sin.  According to Mark 7:7, the ones who teach these doctrines of the commandments of men are worshipping God in vain.

To make the Bride of Christ ready we must come to the unity of the faith and the knowledge of the Son of God unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.  According to Ephesians 4:11-14, until we understand this revelation, saints will be continue to be as children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine,by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive.  Therefore it is important to see the Word of God throughout the Bible to understand this revelation about Jesus Christ and the mystery of God's will.

The Word of God - John 1:1-3 says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”   Moreover, Johns’ opening sentence in the book of Revelation reads, “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him…”  “The Revelation of Jesus Christ” - For this is what gave John the right to record in John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”  Let us see how this was revealed to John.

Supporting scriptures:

Revelation 1:4 “John to the seven churches which are in Asia; Grace be unto you and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before the throne; and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth, Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,”

In Revelation chapter 4, some only focus on this truth there is only one throne and one sits on the throne, however they fail to see the Word of God.  If we look closely at Revelation 4:5, we can see the Word of God.  Revelation 4:5 says: “And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.” It is very important to make note of “Seven lamps of fire burning – seven Spirits of God.”   Next let us review Revelation 5:6: “And I beheld and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.”

Revelation 4:5 referred to the Seven Spirits of God as Seven lamps of fire burning, however Revelation 5:6, clearly explain it was the Lamb and the Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes and these are Seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

Zechariah 4:1-6 explain the seven lamps were the Word of God. (1) “And The angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep, (2) And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candle-stick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which are upon the top thereof.  (3) And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof. (4) So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, what are these, my lord? (5) Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be?  And I said, No, my lord.  (6) Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.”  (Note the two olive trees according to Zechariah 4:14 are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.)

We must note: the seven lamps of fire burning is the Word of God – the seven spirit of God.  WOW!  Praise God.  This is a powerful revelation – Today, Christians are the body of Christ – we are charged to go forth into all nations.  Praise God for this revelation.

Another search of the Seven EyesZechariah 3:8-9: “Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy fellows that sit before thee: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH. (9) For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; upon one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the graving thereof, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of the land in one day.”  Zechariah 4:7-10 “Who art thou, O great mountain?  Before Zerubbabel thou shalt bring forth the head-stone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.  (8) Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me saying, (9) The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shall know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto you. (10) For who hath despised the day of small things? For they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the Lord, which run to and fro through the whole earth.  Here you can see Jesus as the Chief Corner Stone.  Praise God for this revelation.

It is also important to note that it was said, “I will engrave the graving thereof saith the Lord of hosts.”  How and when did this happen?  A study of the Word of God show this happened by a covenant as recorded in Isaiah 59:20-21.  (20)  And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the Lord.  (21) As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD, My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and forever.”

It is important to note that God make a covenant with the Redeemer, Zion, and them that turn from transgression in Jacob.  God gave the Son life within himself.   Isaiah 61 commences by saying, “The SPIRIT of the Lord is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening the prison to them that are bound; (2) To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, …”   This explains why Jesus said at Luke 4:18-19:   “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of the sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, (19) To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.”

Isaiah 11:1-2 says, "And there shall come forth out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: (2) And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord:"  If you look very carefully at this text you will see the Seven Spirits of God.  A closer look, you will see that the Spirit of the Lord resting on "Him."  Him is the other "Six Spirits" the Word that was with God and that was God.

In John 5:39, Jesus said, “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.  And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.”    Today, Christians are the body of Christ – we are charge to go forth into all nations.

The book, “Edifying the Body of Christ: Unbinding the Strong Man,” provides insight for Christians to discover the reasons for the division and gives instructions from the Holy Spirit that lead us to the truth and shows how we can serve God in a more perfect way.  As Jesus gave the command to Peter, today, Jesus is giving the same commands to the mature Christians to feed His lambs, His sheep, and His sheep.  We must share these keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, our gifts from the Holy Spirit, and our growth with others in love.  We must work together to identify traditions that are contrary to the word of God; then end the traditions that prevent the proper edification of the body of Christ.  Therefore, we must allow the Holy Spirit to teach.  When this occurs, we can transcend denominational lines and become a perfect union in the unity of faith.
