They all cite 1 Corinthians 14:33-35 as one of their sources regarding women in the Church. They all explain that Apostle Paul said: Let your women keep silent in the churches! However, none of these men cite what is written in 1 Corinthians 14:36. The KJV says: “What? Came the word of God out from you? Or came it unto you only?”
Apostle Paul admonished these brothers for holding that disposition that women should be silent in the church!
Here is the problem, the NIV and some of the other versions of the Bible have changed 1 Corinthians 14:36. These versions have removed
“What?” Consequently, the admonishment was removed! Today, many have been deceived like these men of GOD!
What these men will not tell you regarding Women’s Role in the Church
(1) According to Acts 16:14-40, A certain woman named Lydia, of the City of Thyatira, worshipped GOD and GOD opened her heart that she attended to the things that Paul taught. Lydia and her household were baptized in the name of JESUS. After she was baptized, she besought Apostle Paul and his team and said: “If you have judged me to be faithful to the LORD, come into my house, and abide there. Surely, they judged her to be faithful because they went and abode in her house.
Pastor MacArthur, Elder Murray, Pastor Evans, Apostle Jennings, and Pastor Baucham will not expound on this text.
Luke wrote that Lydia worshipped GOD. How did he know that she worshipped GOD? Next, what did Lydia do for them to judge her to be faithful to GOD? Surely, Lydia knew the protocol regarding when Jesus sent his disciples out to different cities, they did not go from house to house but stayed at the first house where they found the son of peace. Thyatira is only mentioned three times in the Bible: Acts 16:14, Revelation 2:18, and Revelation 2:24 regarding JESUS’ report unto the angel of the Church in Thyatira. It also must be noted Acts 16:40 says, And they went out of prison, and entered into the house of Lydia: and when they had seen the brethren, they comforted them, and departed! Surely, a Church was established in the home of Lydia! Did GOD call Lydia to preach and teach the gospel?
Think about what is written here. Lydia worshipped GOD, GOD called her! They judged her to be faithful to the LORD! They abode in her home! There was a Church established in her home.
Praise GOD for the revelation! GOD appointed Lydia to share the gospel in the City of Thyatira. (It appears that scholars have failed to include the City of Thyatira in the records of Apostle Paul’s Missionary journeys)
To receive this understanding, we must revisit Luke Chapter Ten and learn what happened when JESUS sent the other seventy out to the cities, two by two.
In Luke 10:5-9, JESUS gave these disciples instructions about abiding in the first house they came to and abide there if they found the son of peace there. They were instructed not to go from house to house. Surely, this protocol of how the disciples operated when they visited a city was not a secret! Lydia knew the importance of them staying in her home in Thyatira. Lydia was chosen by GOD in the name of JESUS – she received the required teaching and training while they abode in her home. This was their place of fellowship while they were there in Thyatira. What is the purpose of ordination? Is an ordination the Church's judgment of a person's ability to perform the duties of the gospel ministry? Again, praise GOD for the revelation.
(2) Pastor MacArthur, Elder Murray, Pastor Evans, Apostle Jennings, and Pastor Baucham will not tell you how Apostle Paul commended the women who labored in the gospel. Romans 16:1, Apostle Paul commended Phebe our sister, which is a servant at the church which is at Cenchrea. And in Romans 16:7, Apostle Paul commended a woman named Junia, she was noted among the Apostles and was an Apostle before Apostle Paul was called.
(3) Moreover, Pastor MacArthur, Elder Murray, Pastor Evans, Apostle Jennings, and Pastor Baucham will not share with you that Apostle Paul encouraged the brethren to help the women who labored in the gospel in Philippians 4:3!
Did all these men dismiss the instruction that JESUS gave us on how to determine whether the doctrine was of GOD or Men in John 7:16-18 and what Apostle Paul wrote in Galatians 1:8-9?
In John 7:16-18 Jesus said: “My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of GOD, or whether I speak of myself. He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him.” Moreover, Galatians 1:8 says: “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached, unto you, let him be accursed.” Then he repeated it. When Apostle Paul made this statement he was including himself - It is important that we understand this standard and not dismiss it.
Now let's address 1 Timothy 2:11-15.
1 Timothy 2:11, Apostle Paul says "I suffer not a woman to teach, nor usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence." Here is the Problem! GOD never said that He suffers not a woman to Teach!
Scriptures support that GOD called both male and female! Moreover, 1 Timothy 2:15 says a woman would be saved in childbearing! This has nothing to do with the Gospel of Christ!
The disposition "I suffer not a woman to teach" is contrary to what Apostle Paul had observed and how GOD had used women. Apostle Paul had commended women who labored in the gospel to include a woman, Apostle Junia, who was an Apostle before him. (Romans 16:7) And Apostle Paul knew that GOD had opened Lydia’s heart to attend to the things that he taught. Apostle Paul also knew how God used a woman named Priscilla to work with her husband Aquila to teach others (Romans 16:3). Moreover, he also encouraged the men to assist the women who labored in the gospel. (Philippians 4:3)
Surely, this is hard to hear because many Christians have embraced the notion that the Apostle Paul was always speaking what GOD commanded him to speak. Some cannot image Apostle Paul walking in his flesh! Well when you carefully study the scriptures, you will discover that the Apostle Paul did not always do what JESUS commanded him to do, and at times he spoke not the words of GOD, however, he spoke as Paul.
Luke records in Acts 20 through Acts 22 when Apostle Paul was walking in his flesh!
Acts 20:22 – King James says: “And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there:” However, the NIV has capitalized the “s” in spirit. The NIV says bound in the “Spirit”. Here is the problem; when you study and align scriptures it becomes clear that Apostle Paul was not in the Spirit of GOD when he made that statement. Acts 21:4 says: Some disciples through the Spirit told Apostle Paul that he should not go to Jerusalem. In Acts 21:10-11, Prophet Agabus demonstrated to Apostle Paul (under the power of the Holy Ghost) how he would be bound if he should go to Jerusalem. Moreover, in Acts 22:18, Apostle Paul testified how JESUS told him to make haste out of Jerusalem because they would not receive his testimony concerning JESUS! JESUS never told Apostle Paul to return to Jerusalem. Moreover, it is also clear that the NIV is in error. Here is an example of some versions of the Bible that undermine the integrity of the written word of GOD.
Surely, this observation presents a real problem for most. This means that at this point Apostle Paul was walking in his flesh. Apostle Paul explains in Galatians 2:11-17, how he brought Apostle Peter and others in check when he observed them walking contrary to the way of the LORD in the name of JESUS. We must understand that Apostle Paul was also subject to walk in his flesh. Praise GOD, today we can use the Word of GOD to address when he walked contrary to the Way of the LORD. For some, this is hard to realize! However, this is one of the reasons, JESUS gave us provisions to determine if doctrine is of man or GOD.
It is clear, in A.D. 63 the text in 1st Timothy, 2nd Timothy, and Titus pertaining to women is contrary to earlier teachings and contained new doctrines.
One of our tasks today is to bring this in check in the name of JESUS.
In order to bring this in check we must regain the focus of the Apostles of JESUS on the day of Pentecost: Click on this link for an article on Regaining the Focus of GOD's Strategic Battle Plan
Many do not understand the parable of the ten virgins! They all slept, the wise and the foolish. This is a Spiritual Warfare. GOD wants us to be watchful in the name of JESUS. Isaiah 29:9-15 explains that GOD has poured out the Spirit of Deep Sleep and closed the eyes of the prophets, rulers, and seers! They all have been covered. This is written for us today. It is important that the Saints of GOD understand this revelation. Here is a link to the revelation.
It is also important to understand how GOD sees the Church today. Isaiah 28:5-13 explains "For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean." Of course, some will cry out - this is not written for us today! But Isaiah 28:5-6 makes it very clear that it is written for us today. The scripture says: "In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people, And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate." Today, our job is to turn the battle to the gate. Think about it for a moment. Today, we have far too many versions of the Bible and they do not say the same thing. Moreover, there are 45,000 different denominations worldwide and we cannot fellowship together because of the doctrine of men. Surely, this is written for us today. We also have several videos and articles that cover this subject.
